1. What We Collect

NoAdsDL does not require registration and does not ask for personal information. The only user-submitted data is the video URL you enter for processing — and this is not stored after your request completes.

For security and abuse prevention, our server automatically logs:

• IP address (temporary, used only for rate limiting)
• Basic browser type and device info (User-Agent header)
• Timestamps of requests
• Technical error logs

These logs are stored temporarily and are not linked to any personal profile. They are used solely to maintain service stability and prevent abuse.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not:

• Store your download history or submitted video URLs
• Create user profiles or track behaviour over time
• Use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies
• Use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or similar trackers
• Sell, share, or rent data to third parties
• Display ads or use ad networks that track users

3. Temporary Files

When you download or convert a video, our server creates a temporary file for processing. This file is:

• Created only for the duration of your download request
• Automatically deleted within minutes of completion
• Never permanently stored, indexed, or shared
• Never associated with your identity

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are popular, what countries visitors come from, and how the site performs overall. This data is:

• Anonymized — no personal identifiers are sent to Google
• Used only for improving the service
• Subject to Google's Privacy Policy

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Cookies

NoAdsDL does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Google Analytics may set a minimal analytics cookie (_ga) to distinguish unique sessions. This cookie does not contain personal information and expires after 2 years.

We do not use cookie consent banners because we do not use cookies that require consent under GDPR (no advertising or profiling cookies).

6. Third-Party Services

NoAdsDL uses yt-dlp (an open-source tool) to process download requests. No third-party advertising networks, affiliate trackers, or data brokers are integrated into our service.

When you download a video from a third-party platform (YouTube, TikTok, etc.), that platform's own terms and privacy policies apply to the original content.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we collect minimal data and no personal profiles, there is very little to exercise rights over. However, you have the right to:

• Request information about what data we hold about you
• Request deletion of any data we may hold
• Object to any processing of your data

8. Children's Privacy

NoAdsDL is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
