Audio only — by design

This page exists specifically for audio extraction, not video downloading. If you actually want the MP4 file, use the YouTube Video page — it shows resolution options this page intentionally leaves out to keep the audio flow simple.

Supported inputs and outputs

Paste a standard watch link or a short youtu.be link for one video.

Bitrate options

128, 256, or 320 kbps MP3, extracted from the video's own audio track.

Filename

The saved file is named after the video title — there's no separate artist/album metadata editor.

How it works

  1. Copy the YouTube video link.
  2. Paste it above and select Extract Audio.
  3. Choose a bitrate.
  4. The MP3 downloads directly — no server-side copy is kept afterward.

What this page can't do

Troubleshooting

All three bitrates sound identical

If the source video's own audio was already low-bitrate, a higher MP3 setting can't add quality that was never there.

Extraction fails immediately

Confirm the link opens and plays normally on youtube.com first — private or deleted videos can't be processed.

Privacy & temporary files

No account is required and audio is not stored after your download completes. See the Privacy Policy for details.

FAQ

128, 256, or 320 kbps MP3. Higher bitrates mean a larger file for the same audio, not necessarily better source quality if the original upload was already compressed.
The downloaded filename is based on the video's title. Full ID3 tagging (artist/album fields) is not a feature of this page — treat the filename as the primary label.
No — paste one video link at a time. For multiple tracks from a single playlist, use the dedicated Playlist to ZIP page instead.
Use it only for audio you own, have permission to extract, or may lawfully save — for example your own uploads, royalty-free tracks, or content licensed for offline use. It is not a way around copyright on commercial music.
