Supported inputs and outputs
Paste a link to a Reddit post containing video — either Reddit-hosted (v.redd.it) or a "GIF" post, which is almost always silent MP4 under the hood.

MP4, with separately-hosted video and audio streams merged automatically when Reddit stores them that way.
Audio output
MP3 at 128, 256, or 320 kbps where an audio track exists; muted GIF-style posts have nothing to extract.
How it works
- Copy the post link from Reddit's Share option.
- Paste it above and select Extract Formats.
- Choose MP4 or an MP3 bitrate, if audio is available.
- The file downloads directly to your device.
What this page can't do
- Posts in private or quarantined subreddits that require login.
- Posts linking to an external article, image gallery, or non-video page.
- Deleted or removed posts.
Troubleshooting
Downloaded video has no sound
Some Reddit "GIF" posts and older video posts genuinely have no audio track — this isn't a processing error.
"Could not read this link"
Confirm the subreddit is public and the post loads without a login prompt in a private browser window.
